…I had just begun the home buying process known as “Escrow.” On this particular day and at the time unbeknownst to me, the dog who would inhabit my new home, steal my heart, and change my life forever, was born among her eleven littermates. Truly the best boxer ever. I’ve written about her here many times. My sweet baby girl Sophie 💖
This was the birthday I had dreamed of and secretly hoped she would reach. That dream may not have become reality, but the home and family this dog helped me to cultivate are definitely dreams realized.
With more on the horizon…
For, tomorrow morning, our family is about to embark on an adventure that became a dream goal the moment I learned of it’s existence (about four years ago): The once in a lifetime experience of riding our bikes over 250 miles across the state of California. Our beautiful precious baby girl is now a fifth grader 🫨 who loves riding her bike 🥰 And we won the lottery! 🤩 The RAC lottery, that is 🫣
Training commences tomorrow morning for this excited and a bit nervous (Ooh is that just me?! 🫣) cycling family.
As they say at The Happiest Place on Earth: “Hold on to yer hats and glasses! ‘Cuz this here’s (gonna be) the wildest ride in the wilderness!” 🤪
